Our Story

EXILESTAR is as of now is a small team making every garment pieces from our collection by hand and in-house. We started this fashion label project completely from scratch at home, needless to say, starting such an ambitious endeavor comes with it's fair share of challenges and limitations. Launching our first collection with only four available garment sizes, a single colorway and no male designs is a testament to our dedication. In spite of our limited resources, we wanted to concentrate on what's truly important to us; producing beautiful and high quality alternative fashion no matter what.

 

What We're Here For

We're dedicated in offering quality locally-made and ethically made products. We aim to elevate alternative fashion on every conceivable levels. To raise our design style and garment quality to the same heights as some of the more well established and renowned houses, such as Dior or Yves Saint-Laurent, all the while keeping our vision inside the purview of alternative fashion. But above all, our goal is the empower those of us that always felt left by the wayside. create garments that validate and reinforce the uniqueness of the outcasts among us. We're here to offer the odd ones out a way to express themselves through alternative, yet genuine and proper fashion. Here for those that always felt exiled yet have decided to take their uniqueness in strides. 

 

Our Creative Vision

Our creative drive isn't limited by trends or fashion currents. Our first collection ASUNDER WAVES, is inspired by Japanese seifukus and sailor uniforms. Yet, we allow ourselves to explore these pre-established aesthetics with novel bold  silhouettes, lines and constructions. As our project keeps growing in scope and as we keep on amassing and enlarging our customer base, we'll keep on producing increasingly more creative and imaginative pieces. Our current catalog is for the most part a base inventory to ease-in our vision and to also offer some more conventional garments for the people that wish to be a bit more discreet. 

 

Our system is simple. We intend on basing every one of our collections upon new completely distinct genres and visual influences. Instead of structuring our collections around seasons like fashion houses typically do. We're gearing towards having every and each one of our collections to be self-contained fluid projects of their own, centered and built upon one specific theme and aesthetic above anything else. With each line kept active and updated with new elements and pieces as time goes. In short, we're looking into adapting a lot of completely different inspiration and aesthetics, all linked and characterized by our design style.

  

Slow Fashion And Us

EXILESTAR is dedicated to the fight against fast fashion and it's awful repercussions. This is why we intend on keeping our production capacities locally, forever. Even when inevitably moving our capacities out from our garage and to a proper manufacture, we aim to deal exclusively with local workshops. For better quality control and to ensure adequate treatment and salary for the artisans that will be crafting our products. Our use of robust materials, meticulous assembling techniques, and timeless designs is our way of making our pieces stand the test of time both physically and visually. Slow fashion is the answer for a better future and a healthier fashion industry and EXILESTAR is proud to be aiding towards this goal in any way possible.
